Our SCVA director Jason Sweatt and co-founder Aaron Newsom present “Veterans on Medical Cannabis” as part of the CannTalk lecture series in Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz Veterans Alliance works to address issues facing veterans through our Veteran Compassion Program, promoting horticultural therapy, and bringing awareness to chronic health concerns like PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Santa Cruz country board of supervisors have asked our SCVA director, Jason Sweatt, to sit on the Cannabis Cultivation Choices Committee (C4) to advise our local politicians and educate our community about responsible medical cannabis cultivation and safe access.
